Growing up is a complex experience and many children and young people face challenges along the way. At Eden Psychology & Consultancy Services Ltd we apply our skills to explore, identify and support a range of difficulties with learning and with coping with the emotional demands of the school experience.
We offer diagnostic assessments, exploratory ‘dynamic’ assessments, support for transitions and readiness to learn when moving into key phases (e.g. EYFS, KS3, HE), mentoring and therapeutic interventions.
SCHOOLS, SETTINGS, ORGANISATIONS
We offer support to schools, settings and organisations through consultation, complex case discussions, planning and goal/outcome setting with vulnerable children/young people, supervision for staff or managers, team-building, training and interventions.
STAFF/PROFESSIONAL WELLBEING & DEVELOPMENT
Professional wellbeing is of paramount importance to us at Eden Psychology & Consultancy Services Ltd. We believe one can only pour from a cup that is being constantly refilled. We offer creative or structured/formal supervision tailored to your needs, coaching and mentoring. We create space to facilitate reflective thinking, problem-unravelling and to consider the personal-professional dynamic (i.e. how your work impacts you and vice versa).
We offer supervision to Psychologists, Social Workers, Teachers, Community Organisations and many other professionals.
PARENT/CARER SUPPORT
At Eden Psychology & Consultancy Services Ltd we like the African Proverb “it takes a village to raise a child” and we advocate a family and community approach to doing this. We offer guidance and a space to simply listen and problem-solve for parents and carers, including adults in kinship and special guardianship arrangements.
We also offer therapeutic interventions including Tree of Life (narrative) work as a family, Video Interaction Guidance, play-based interaction support and Therapeutic Life Story Work.
